Joaquin Phoenix Documentary Isn't Going To Make Any Money Real

Say it ain’t so, Casey Affleck! Say it ain’t so!
Looks like this is a week of closure for Affleck. First, he settles his sexual harassment lawsuits, and now he’s finally admitted to the world what we already knew:
The Joaquin Phoenix Documentary, I’m Still Here, is fake!
Even Joaquin’s bizarre Late Show With David Letterman interview was staged. Here’s what a writer from the show, Bill Scheft, had to say about it:

“That was all an act… Think Andy Kaufman without shaving. That├óΓé¼Γäós what he was doing. And Dave knew about it and Dave loved it because he could play along. He could do whatever he wanted with it. And he did, and it was great television. But I will take credit for the line, ‘I think I owe Farrah Fawcett an apology.’ I gave that to him during the break.”

Guess we’ve gotta give credit where credit is due. Admittedly, there were a few points where we weren’t even sure what the deal was with this movie…BUT now we know and the magic is gone.
Good Night Crazy Joaquin Phoenix, and flights of Afflecks sing thee to thy rest!
Will U still see I’m Still Here, now that U know it’s all a hoax?
