Vitamins aren't what come to mind when we hear the name Donald Trump, but in his latest business venture the Donald is teaming up with Ideal Health, a nutritional products company.
Renaming the company The Trump Network, he is claiming that the marketing program could provide extra income for people suffering through the recession.
Would-be salespeople purchase a marketing kit to sell the products as well as recruit other salespeople to get a cut from their sales as well.
But just because Donald Trump slaps his name on there it doesn't guarantee success. Daniel Howard, marketing professor at Southern Methodist University explains:
"People are more easily persuaded when they want to believe in something. Someone comes along with a big name like Donald Trump and pitches riches, it captures peoples' attention and interest. If he made so much money, they think, 'I'm glad I'm on board.'"
But he adds the ominous fact: "Multilevel marketing is a tough business, and most people don't make much money."
Because he hasn't come out of closet been attached to anyone recently, Derek Hough was forced to resort to talking about his sister's love life to reporters.
He suggested that Julianne Hough's split from Chuck Wicks was due to her demanding career schedule and nothing to do with any drama.
He said:
"She's 21 years old and her career is skyrocketing right now and it's tough to sustain a relationship, especially with somebody who's so much older than her.. We'll all still hang out. We're all very close. And [the split] is amicable. They're still really great friends, and that's the way to do it."
Sure, whatever you say Derek.
Hey, now that you're both single, we bet you could bar hop together. It's always easier to pick up a guy at the bar with a wing-woman!

A spokesman for Steven Tyler has said that the Aerosmith frontman is just taking a quick break due to a shoulder injury and he is working on his autobiography while he heals.
Guitarist Joe Perry and the gang seem to think something else is amiss and alluded to Steven using drugs again.
It sounds to us like nobody knows what's actually going on and you all should talk to EACH OTHER instead of through publicists and the media!
Either way, we're sure drugs are going to play a major part in Steven's autobiography!
Seems like the photo spread in People Magazine a few months ago is the closest anyone is going to get to seeing their favorite Baysiders reunite.
Zack MorrisMark-Paul Gosselaar revealed that the idea was "dead" because no one has approach the group with a decent idea:
“No one has come up with a good plan. People have been saying, 'Oh, I want a reunion.' Well, of what? Do they want to see us get together and talk to each other? Or do they want to see a full episode? No one is opposed to it, but there’s just nothing.”
That's your cueJimmy Fallon. Better some than none! It would certainly help your ratings!
Liv Tyler had a message for the paparazzi that only her finger could express in front of her little one.
Liv was dropping off her little Milo at school when she had a run-in with the photogs. Liv used that friendly little hand gesture to politely tell them to get lost!
While many celebs opt to boost up their boobies, Paris Hilton though better of it when the socialite considered getting them.
Her mother, Kathy Hilton, remembers when her daughter came to her with the news to go ahead with the procedure to get breast implants, claiming Paris was tired of being "flat" chested.
But at the last second, she backed out. Kathy recalls:
"At one point she was like ‘I wanna do this and that, I’m so flat!’ but then all of a sudden she was like ‘I love it. I don’t care. I love it.' I’m proud of that; I think that’s really nice.”
