Cynthia Nixon Admits All The 'Outlandish' Sex & The City Plot Lines Were REAL!

Cynthia Nixon comes clean about Sex and the City plot lines.
So someone on the Sex and the City writing staff was actually dumped via Post-It note?
And someone else dated a politician who secretly wanted to be peed on?
And yet another dated a comic book artist with awesome weed who still lived with his parents?!
According to Cynthia Nixon, AKA Miranda Hobbes on the show, all of the “crazy” and “outlandish” plot lines for the HBO show were inspired by actual events that happened to the show’s writers or people they were close with.
During a recent IMDb Asks interview (skip to 16:10 if you’re lazy), the actress came clean:

“Even though crazy and outlandish things happen in Sex and the City, fantastical things seemingly, they had a rule in the writer’s room that nothing — they couldn’t put anything in an episode that hadn’t literally happened to someone in the writer’s room or someone that they knew firsthand…The outlandish, physical, sexual things that happened, they really happened. They weren’t just tall tales.”

We’d personally love to meet the person responsible for most of Samantha’s insane sexual escapades.
Remember that time she just randomly gave the UPS guy a blow job? All hail Samantha!!!
