After his performance on Good Morning America tomorrow was abruptly canceled by ABC after his controversial performance at the AMAs, Adam Lambert was interviewed by Ryan Seacrest on the ordeal.
Here are some HIGHlights:
On the AMAs performance:
"It's choreography, we were dancing. The sexuality of it kind of got a little more extreme when I got up on stage. I think the adrenaline kind of took me over, and I admit it, and i'm proud of the fact that I did get a little carried away. It's just the fact that I'm me and it's a little different for people. It's really not that big of a deal. I'm not a babysitter, I'm a performer."
On the double standard for male and female performers:
"I don't feel I owe anyone an apology for anything. I performed, it was late night TV, I did something that female performers have been doing for years, no different. I do think there's a slight double standard. We've seen female pop performers doing extremely sexual routines for years and all of the sudden a guy does it and it's crazy."
On the cancellation of his GMA concert:
"Obviously I respect their decision, they gotta do what they gotta do. It's too bad, I think there were a lot of fans who were excited to come see me. They probably had a lot of pressure coming at them from certain people who weren't happy about it. I respect their decision - I don't necessarily agree with it, but they need to do what they need to do."
Spoken like a real class act!
We're looking forward to seeing Glambert tomorrow on The Early Show, which booked Adam after GMA cancelled!
Adam Lambert's performance at the American Music Awards last night may have received more attention, some are still talking about Jennifer Lopez's fall on stage.
While performing her new song, Louboutins, J. Lo fell on her big Boricua booty when she jumped off a dancer's back. However, it seems she must have some fans at the AMAs, because the hilarious falling clip was CUT OUT of the West coast feed. Instead, they showed JLo jumping in slow motion and cut to her standing up.
Luckily for us, the original clip is already all over the internet, and you can watch it HERE.
But, J. Lo isn't going to let this small slip set her back. Instead, she called in to Ryan Seacrest's radio show this morning and joked about the whole incident.
She told Seacrest, "Did I trip a little bit? I don't even remember. Yeah, I meant to do that. That was part of the choreography."
And she did recover from her fall rather quickly, adding: "The measure of things isn't what happens when you fall, it's how you recover when you fall."
However, we have to ask, why was J. Lo's fall cut out of the West coast feed, but producers decided to keep Adam Lambert's tumble on stage and didn't edit that out?
Though kudos to Lambert for doing a good job on working his fall into the routine.
Even Ryan Seacrest isn't allowed to ask about Robsten!
Watch as Robert Pattinson gets dragged away from his interview with Ryan Seacrest on the New Moon red carpet last night after only three questions (above)!
Kellan Lutz revealed to Ryan Seacrest that he was supposed to audition for the role of Edward Cullen in The Twilight Saga, but he wasn't interested!
He says:
"I was doing [HBO's] Generation Kill and was sent the script in Africa. I put it off, then finally read it and by the time I got back to L.A., they said, 'OK, are you ready to audition for Edward?' I said, 'I don't want to play Edward. He's too complex, too depressing for me.'"
Only after Kellan turned down the audition was he asked to read for the part of Emmett Cullen and he agreed because Emmett is "one of those fun-loving characters" that he enjoys playing.
The hunky actor is confident in his choice when asked if he has any regrets about not auditioning for Edward saying:
"No. Fame is fame. And Rob [Pattinson] is handling it like a champ. Everything that comes with this whole phenomenon is breathtaking. I don't think anybody could prepare you for something like this. I'm so happy with Emmett. I don't care to be famous."
R-Patz is just about the most famous male on the planet and although he's one handsome fella, he surely has the role of Edward to thank for that.
And considering they were inseparable this year, we think he's a big ol' liar!!!!
"Oh. No. Never have been," said Kellan of his alleged romance. "I've known her for six years, and we met again on the set [of 90210], but we shot Abercrombie [catalogs] way back in the day. She's single, and I'm very much single."
And the Twilight hottie doesn't have much of a plan for his future love life!
"I don't really think about who I want to date," he continued. "I kind of fall into situations, and then I'm like 'Oh, I'm dating you now.'"
American Idol finalists from last season, Kris Allen, Adam Lambert and Allison Irahetaare being forced to want to come to your town for a free concert!
Rapture!
Listeners of Ryan Seacrest's KISS FM radio show this morning were treated to the news that the AI host is arranging a special, free concert for the city or town that garners the most votes on his website. The "Ryan, Rock My Town" contest will run through December 11th and as of now New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago are in the lead for the mediocre mega prize.
Get clicking Glambert fans if you want him to come your way! (Do Kris and Allison have fans?)
As sad a statement as that may be, don't feel too bad for Katie. She's pocketing $15 million a year!
Forbesrevealed their highest paid primetime television personalities with Simon Cowell topping the list at $75 million! And that's just on American television! Cowell appears on both Britain's Got Talent and The X Factor in the UK. Donald Trump follows Simon at $50 million with Ryan Seacrest taking the 3rd place spot at $35 million. Charlie Sheen and Steve Carell are in 4th and 5th place with $21 million and $20 million respectively.
But the moral of this story is that Howie Mandel makes $15 million a year!
At first, we weren't sure if Ryan had gotten a new dog or a new pony. Then we remember he is a ridiculously small man and compared to that massive pup, he might was well be a pony!
But, unfortunately for Ryan Seacrest, his is mentally insane.
Chidi Uzomah, the man who allegedly stalked the American Idol host, has pled not guilty to one felony stalking charge and two misdemeanor charges of disobeying a court order.
Although, he pled guilt to three misdemeanors in September after choking Ryan's bodyguard outside of an Orange County hospital.
Wowsa! Has choking been downgraded to a misdemeanor?!
RyRy has been granted a protective order in which Uzomah must stay at least 500 yards away from him. And he's not going anywhere soon because his bail is set at $150,000.
If convicted, Uzomah may server a maximum of four years in state prison.
