Mr. Mandy Moore himself, Ryan Adams is giving back!

The singer-songwriter has auctioned off a series of his paintings and collages to raise $$$ for the Housing Works Bookstore Café, a charity concentrated on helping the homeless and AIDS patients.

Nice!

Although the auction is over, Adams' work will be up at the Morrison Hotel Gallery in NYC until October 15th.

A solid choice we think. Mandy Moore has one of those squeaky, cutesy voices perfect for this.

Sources reveal that Mandy will be lending her vocals to the latest Disney animated feature, Rapunzel, as the princess herself!

The movie has some potential that past Disney flicks haven't, mainly since music man Alan Menken, who also did Beauty and The Beast & Aladdin, will be composing.

Voicing opposite Mandy will be Chuck star Zachary Levi as "the bandit who finds himself on the road with the rebellious" Rapunzel.

This revamp of the classic fairytale "picks up with the princess, famous for her 70 feet of golden hair, after she's been stolen from her parents' castle as an infant and imprisoned. Now a teenager, Rapunzel escapes and goes on the run with a bandit as her captor pursues them."

All the makings of wholesome family fun.

DJ AM's former girlfriend and close friend Mandy Moore has released a statement about AM's untimely passing.

Says Mandy:

I am absolutely heartbroken. For those of us lucky enough to have known him, Adam radiated a contagious exuberance for life and also personified the very definition of a true friend. To say that he will be missed beyond words is an understatement. My heart goes out to his loved ones

So, so sad.

Does Ryan Adams' "allergy" to the paparazzi extend to reputable publications as well???

In a recent Q & A, Mandy Moore's media-phobic husband attributed his departure from NYC to those big meanies over at the The New York Times!!

Says Adams:

"I used to live in New York City for a long time. I fought like hell for the city when people left for Brooklyn and dumped every penny i could into the mission and the museums. I got shat on by The New York Times for long enough so I moved."

Oh boo-hoo!

Sources reveal exclusively to PerezHilton.com that Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams got married on Tuesday!

The pair had a small, simple ceremony in Savannah, Georgia.

Moore and Adams got engaged last month and dated on-and-off for about a year.

A friend of Mandy's tells us, "She's very very happy." And another source confirms that Adams is completely head-over-heels about her and a changed man.

Congrats to the happy couple!
