And between the two, we're sure they've conquered most of Hollywood!

In the midst of an interview with Details magazine, John Mayer spots Gerard Butler at El Lay's Chateau Marmont and strikes up a 20 minute conversation.

"We talked about New York . . .We're in a bit of the same position of being branded womanizers," said Mayer, when asked by the interviewer.

The two both have a penchant for dating famous women, but John wants to set the record straight.

"You just never know who's going to come into your life. To my mind, the only thing sicker than saying, 'Wow, you're a famous person and it would do a lot for my career to go out with you,' is to say, 'Wow, you're a famous person and I like you and all, but I can't do that to my career.' I don't think either of those is a good option."

We get it, yet Mayer still knows that he doesn't win fans with his overwhelming opinions!!

"What if I had a booth on the street and I said, 'Attention, everybody who hates me: If you have a problem with me, I'm ready to hear your gripes! ….I will only be speaking to people who do not like me. Come out and let me have it. I will not speak back.' "How many people do you think would be standing there? I'm talking about people getting the chance to tell me directly, 'I think you're a douchebag.' You know how many people would do it? Ze-ro."

Don't tempt us!

We're trying to decide whether Gerard Butler is trying to be funny, trying to be funny while being drunk, or drunk and stupid!

While in London on Wednesday afternoon, Gerard decided to recreate an iconic image from Michael Jackson's past. This time, however, Gerard spared some poor kid years of therapy and simply dangled a small plant wrapped in a towel for the paparazzi.

Whether he took a puff of that plant beforehand we still don't know.

At the Glasgow premiere of Law Abiding Citizen, Gerard Butler took to the red carpet in a traditional kilt, while surrounded by his family and friends!

And what better to give your hometown than some easy access to your Scottish haggis!

Well, looky here! Even the ultimate bachelor wants a family some day!

As the big 4-0 approaches, Gerard Butler is rethinking his life and considering the many options he has available to him (aka he can't make up his damn mind).

"Right now, yes, I question a bunch of things in my life and I am in a lot of ways more comfortable than ever. I know what sill excites me and what is just never going to happen," said the actor. "But then also there are things I have different opinions on. Sometimes I think: ‘God, I wish I was married now, and had kids.’ Other times I think: 'Thank Christ I am not married and don’t have kid yet, I can do that later.'

Well, you're gonna be 40! Those sperm don't swim forever!

Butler continued, "But I can totally imagine it. It’s just not right now. I am great where I am but it would be nice. It doesn’t have to be marriage. It could be to be in a relationship and I would definitely like kids some day.’’

Of course, he would! But, will he ever be home to see them?!

It wouldn't surprise us!

Lindsay seems to be back on the peen and Gerard Butler is a total manwhore, being linked to both Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Aniston recently!

Lindsay Lohan was in Morocco for the Sol Kerzner Mazagan Beach Resort launch this weekend, and it was quite the celebrity event with Naomi Campbell, Guy Ritchie, Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber also in attendance.

But Lindsay only had eyes for Gerard apparently and they were spotted making out after a bout of dirty dancing.

Lindsay told the UK's Mirror:

"I'm fed up of all the drama. I just want to find someone who loves me back. I feel like I’m going to have a heart attack every time I think about the break-up [from SaMAN Ronson]. I came here to get away from it all. I’m ready to have fun now…I’ve got no ring on my finger so I’m gonna have lots of fun. This is the most romantic place in the world after all."

Gerard and Lindsay were last seen taking off together in a golf cart into the night.

Since a sting of terrible romantic comedies, Gerard Butler needs to prove that he can do something other than eff his costars.

The fledgeling actor has decided to tackle some of the most difficult work of his career - Shakespeare.

Butler will attempt to hold his own alongside powerhouses William Hurt, Vanessa Redgrave and Ralph Fiennes in William Shakespeare's Coriolanus.

The "passion project" will be directed by Fiennes, who will also occupy the lead role.

It has not been confirmed what role Gerard will potray in the film adaptation, but we have our money on Coriolanus' sworn enemy, Tullus Aufidius.

At least it's something a little more 300, a little less The Ugly Truth!

Looks like someone is trying to squash this rumor and quick.

Earlier today, reports were that Jessica Simpson and Gerard Butler were getting extra friendly in New York.

The two were said to have been flirting all night over dinner with friends and later left together, with Jess's favorite accessory, Ken Paves, tagging along.

But Gerard an anonymous source has now stated that "There is nothing romantic there at all" between Butler and Simpson.

With Jessica another source adding, "I'm never surprised to hear that Gerard is with someone new. None of those relationships last. Certainly he's not planning on settling down with Jessica Simpson … Gerard plays the field … and Jessica is lonely … and she lost weight and is looking good."

Well, there doesn't need to be any romance sometimes if all you're looking for is a quick shag.

Just saying.

Jessica Simpson and Gerard Butler were seen out at Soho House in New York on Tuesday night along with her BFF and hair stylist Ken Paves and some other friends. An insider reveals:

"They were at a table with friends, but Jessica and Gerard, who sat next to each other, seemed to only be interested in each other and chatted for hours. They were laughing and flirting and eventually left together, along with Ken."

Left with Ken, huh?

Maybe they engaged in a bit of a threesome? They are Gerry's favorite, you know!

In an appearance on It's On with Alexa Chung, Gerard Butler was quite forthcoming with his sexual forays!

And his intentions of one with the host!

Midway through the interview, he blurts out, "You've got amazing eyes."

He continued to tell Alexa that he didn't know how beautiful her eyes were until they first met and she replied, "No - you were just going on about my legs."

And it got pretty awkward!

When told that there is a Facebook group entitled Gerard Butler can impregnate through looks alone, Gerard told Alexa, "I'm knocking you up - I think I've just knocked you up, actually."

Wowsa!

Then, the two participated in a quiz and instead of answering yes, he had to say The Butler did it!

So, when asked if he had a threesome in the last year, he immediately replied - you guess it, The Butler did it.

"The Butler pretty much always does it," he laughed.

Now, does the Butler always pay child support?!
