It's the battle of the TV doctors!
The Dr. Oz show premiered in September and has only been picking up steam since then! Averaging 3.5 million viewers, Dr. Mehmet Oz is poised to surpass Dr. Phil in viewers as he's only 200,000 behind right now.
Industry expert Brad Adgate says:
"Dr. Oz has momentum, it's new and there is some fatigue factor with Dr. Phil. And Mehmet Oz has become a household name in the same way as Dr. Phil. For a show like Oz to crack the top 10 in its first year is extraordinary."
When it comes to Oz vs. Phil, which team are U on?

Another woman has come forward, claiming Dr. Phil forced her to look at a naked dude!!
Pervy!!!!
Coming up on the heels of Shirley Dieu's lawsuit, a woman by the name of Crystal Matchett has filed a lawsuit with the L.A. County Superior Court against the not-so-good doc, claiming she was put in a room with a "completely naked man, who was exposing his entire naked body, genitals and all."
WTF?????
What sort of therapy is that?????
No wonder Dr. Phil isn't a licensed doctor or therapist!!
The legal docs claim Dr. Phil "brainwashed" Matchett and she was forced to stay in the same room with the naked guy in Phil's production offices, although she doesn't accuse him of grabbing her left boob like Dieu's lawsuit claims.
Either way, Dr. Phil should explain this nasty shiz ASAP before more women come forward!
What do U think????

When you have the stamp of approval from Oprah, it's pretty hard NOT to score big!
Dr. Mehmet Oz's talk show is doing extremely well in the ratings and even improving the ratings of many network's afternoon news programs as the lead-in show.
Dr. Oz even took the third place spot in the second week airing after Oprah herself and her other protege Dr. Phil.
Pretty impressive! John Weiser, Sony's president of distribution says of Dr. Oz:
"Dr. Oz is a man of the people. Viewers feel connected to him, and they really engage with the information he delivers. The timing is right for Dr. Oz. The American public is more interested in their health than ever before and with the difficult economy, a lot of people want to take control of their own health care and understand simple but smart ways to take better care of themselves."
Have been tuning in to Dr. Oz?

A woman has come forward with a lawsuit against Dr. Phil, claiming that the good hick doc attacked the woman with emotional and physical abuse. The lawsuit reads that during a session together back in 2007, Phil forced his female patient, Shirley Dieu, to "be in the same room with a completely naked live man while he exposed his entire naked body, genitals and all."
Maybe she should just be glad it wasn't Dr. Phil that was completely naked. (No, seriously. That's very wrong.)
Shirley then claims that she tried to leave the building, only be "blocked by the staff to prevent her from leaving." She also alleges that during their session, Dr. Phil "touched her left breast". And to top it all off, Dr. Phil isn't even licensed to practice in California, a tid-bit he never shared with Shirley.
This is horrible - if it's true. This Shirley could just be a woman banking on the whole talk show scandal epidemic going around Hollywood.
What do U think?

He sure seems old and curmudgeony enough!
Dr. Phil is going to be a grandpa!
His son Jay and his wife, Erica McGraw, recently discovered they were sperminated while on a trip with the McGraw clan!
"We were actually vacationing with the whole family and were in Elba, Italy," he said. "Jay and Erica had discreetly gotten several home pregnancy tests the day before in France, and they sat us all down in Elba and said they had some exciting news! 'We are pregnant!' "
Well, isn't that quaint!
"The day before Robin had said to me, 'I just get the feeling that Erica is pregnant.' I swear she is some kind of mind-reader, but I guess women know these things," Phil continued. "I was stunned and thrilled. I did not see it coming at all."
If she's such a mind-reader, maybe you should recruit her to save your destitute show!
Just saying!
Oh, and congrats!

Oh, the sweet irony of turning against your own!
Good thing he deserves it!!!
Post-Newsweek's KPRC Houston has pulled Dr. Phil off the air in its 3 o'clock timeslot and replacing it with Oprah's new protege, Dr. Oz.
“It’s out of desperation that I did this," said Post-Newsweek President Alan Frank. “I did everything but stand on my head to get [CBS’] attention over the years.”
The station purchased rights to air the show till 2011, but due to disappointing ratings and tabloid-centered content, they felt it was better to abandon ship. According to Nielson ratings, Dr. Phil's viewership is down 22% from last year!
“We’ve been disappointed for some time in the direction of the show,” continued Frank. “It used to be a friend to female viewers and it’s changed to become a very tabloid show. It’s not the topics, it’s the way they treat the topics.”
No one, but CBS Television Distribution can deny that the show's gone downhill.
The studio states, "The facts are that KRPC has a contractual obligation to pay for the show through 2011. We have listened to the station's comments about the show and we are as proud of the content and direction as we've ever been. We are confused by the station's actions."
Do they watch the show or just sell commercials?!
Because it blows hard!
Meanwhile, Dr. Oz is up 13% in Houston from a month ago!
“We had no sense that Dr. Phil was going to do anything different so we finally decided to see if we could get ratings from a show other than this one,” said Frank.
Looks like Dr. Phil someone needs to take their own advice and GET REAL!

We would too, except these ladies wanted to see Dr. Phil.
Five women are suing the "doctor" after they were involved in a crash while en route to his show almost 2 years ago.
What took them so long?
Back in December 2007, the Dr. Phil show chartered a bus for members of a Ventura County mothers group to come to a taping of the show. Unfortunately, while en route to the doc's studio the bus crashed.
Oops.
In the lawsuit filed with L.A. County Superior Court, the women claim that the bus' brakes "failed and lost power, making the bus unable to stop", causing it to collide with "another vehicle, two concrete curbs, an iron fence and two trees".
Ouch!
From the crash, 17 were injured but only 5 are suing for negligently hiring a bad bus. In addition to suing the show's production company Peteski Productions, they're also going after the bus company, Bus America, and the bus driver.
Why not sue the other car involved for being on the road, while you're at it?
The ladies are suing for unspecified damages.
With all the employees he's canned, we're sure there's some money lying around to take care of this little problem!

This is just getting beyond ridiculous.
Douchebag Jon Gosselin has been going on an all-out media campaign to defend himself and bash the mother of his eight kids.
And now he's opening up about the supposed "therapy" he received… from Dr. Phil!
On yesterday's ABC special, Primetime: Family Secrets, Jon reveals that Kate Gosselin would only agree to go to therapy if it was with Dr. Phil.
Says Jon, "I was very hesitant. I was like, 'What the heck is this?'"
Well, we kinda agree there. Wouldn't you want to go to private therapy with a certified, good marriage counselor?
But according to Jon, the session with Dr. Phil wasn't really about fixing their marriage, but more about fixing their TV show!
Jon adds, "We talked about the brand and corporate things and making the brand work. I felt it was weird. I was like, 'Why am I here? I could be snowboarding.' It wasn't helping."
As for Dr. Phil, he simply said "I respect the Gosselins' privacy, I have no comment on their marriage."
If this is true, we wonder how Kate will spin it. Though she still seems like the better parent, but Jon's doing a good job of trying to make her look bad!

Dr. Phil - Watch your back!
In two weeks, Oprah Winfrey’s favorite physician is leaving her Chicago digs to make a name for himself on his own.
The good Dr. Mehmet Oz will begin his solo talk show on Sept. 14th. The show is aimed at providing viewers vital health information, the kind of information Dr. Oz was known for dispensing as Oprah’s go-to doc.
We hear that one of the aspects of the show will be a "truth tube, a platform that can display a person's weight, body fat and other health indicators.”
Guarantee you won’t see Oprah stepping into that thing! In fact, as of yet, there isn’t even any mention of her making a guest spot.
Tit for tat, O!
Are U going to watch his show?
