Killers frontman Brandon Flowers and his wife, Tana, welcomed their second child into the world last week. The baby boy is named Gunner and joins older brother Ammon. Speaking on the new baby name, Flowers explained, "[Gunner] is a tough name. I had to have something that combats against the Flowers." Well, if you were hoping for an album of new material from Brandon Flowers and the boys, don't hold your breath! The Killers have announced that they have plans to release an album full of covers by the end of the year! "It's something that we've always talked about doing and we're still talking about," Flowers shared with NME. He lamented about the group's trouble with song selection: "It's difficult for each of us to pick songs that represent us as individuals. I mean, I have a lot of personalities myself! I've gone through everything from Neil Diamond to the Cars." So what'll land on the album of covers? Drummer Ronnie Vanucci revealed his personal front runners for the record: "Genesis, Tom Waits, a little Cyndi Lauper, Iggy Pop" as well as "messing around with a couple of Fleet Foxes songs."
