Talk about awkward cross-promoting!

Some of the New Jersey housewives from the Bravo Real Housewives franchise are making their primetime debut on NBC!

Jacqueline Laurita and Teresa "I-Flip-Tables-When-I'm-Pissed" Giudice will be making a guest appearance on the new NBC drama, Mercy. The ladies will get into words (and possibly be throwing tables) at Michelle Trachtenberg when her character travels to a NJ bar!

A spy on set reveals: “It’s not a warm and fuzzy encounter by any means.”

Another money-saving scheme from NBC: save money on real actors and promote another show all in one shot!

Boy, Jay Leno must be really expensive, huh?

Were you sad to see Georgina Sparks leave the Upper East Side after only a few episodes on Gossip Girl?

Fear not, because the door is always open for her to return and Michelle Trachtenberg is keen to oblige.

Though taking a break from the show to shoot her own new gig on NBC, Mercy, Michelle insists that audiences have not seen the last of the GG's resident villain:

"Georgina, she's taken a little trip away. She's gone off with a Russian prince, or so she thinks. So, there are so many more great things that Georgina can do. She pretty much just always comes in, destroys their lives for a few episodes, and then is like, 'OK, I'm good now. I think I'll go get a massage in the Caribbean.' "

Though she admits that she and Leighton Meester are pretty close friends, don't expect the same to ever happen between Georgina and Blair Waldorf. Michelle says that her character has a "grudge" and is hell bent to keep in that way!

So what does Michelle think of her bad girl persona:

"She is absolutely amazing. She is the best character I have ever played. She is so much," she gushed. "She is incredibly evil, manipulative and pretty much just takes no prisoners, and she doesn't care about the consequences. She is fantastic."

Maybe when she gets back, she'll bring in some real trouble to help Gossip Girl spike the ratings!

Looks like Michelle Trachtenberg is over that nasty incident that took place on Monday night with Ashlee Simpson.

You know, the one in which a drunken Asslee yelled at Trachtenberg, who used to be with Pete Wentz, that "I hope you know, the whole time you were dating Pete, I was fucking him!"

Ouch.

Well, Asslee has since "apologized" and Trachtenberg is back out on the town.

Wednesday night, Michelle and her boyfriend were spotted having dinner at Nobu restaurant in Los Angeles.

And we have to say, the young starlet was looking lovely! And her man meat isn't too shabby either!

Let's hope she doesn't have anymore run-ins with Simpson where there's alcohol involved!

Asslee Simpson has apparently apologized to Pete Wentz's ex, Michelle Trachtenberg, after Simpson went bat shit crazy on Michelle at a very public event Monday night in El Lay.

We sense Papa Simpson had a hand in this!

"It was just a misunderstanding," Ass' rep quickly told OK! Magazine after PerezHilton.com broke the story Wednesday morning.

That's the best you can do???

What's to be misunderstood when you're screaming "I hope you know, the whole time you were dating Pete, I was fucking him!"???

Ha!

Her rep continued: "Ashlee has since apologized to Michelle and they remain on good terms."

Good terms, eh?

Hard to believe!

Poppa Joe won't be happy to hear this!

Multiple impeccable sources reveal exclusively to PerezHilton.com that a very nasty altercation went down between Ashlee Simpson and Michelle Trachtenberg at the 'DJ Hero' party at LA's Wiltern Theater on Monday night.

Several insiders tell us that an out-of-control Simpson verbally attacked Trachtenberg and had to be restrained.

The party-planner made a major faux pas by sitting Pete Wentz and wife Assslee directly in front of his ex-girlfriend, Trachtenberg, who attended the soiree, where Jay-Z and Eminem performed, with her new boyfriend.

Surprisingly, "The evening started off very civilly," an eyewitness tells us. "Pete and Ashlee had a pleasant conversation with Michelle and her boyfriend for close to 20 minutes." Simpson even showed Trachtenberg some baby pictures of her little boy, Bronx.

Then, the boozing happened! And more!

"Ashlee got very very drunk," an insider reveals. "She also kept making frequent bathroom trips."

Maybe she was just going to the bar a lot?

She's a new mom!

"As the evening went on and Ashlee started to get sloppier, things got out of control," one stunned partygoer tells us.

The crescendo of the night occurred when an increasingly loud and obnoxious Simpson began to give Wentz a lap dance. "She was staring directly at Michelle and starting hurling insults at her," a source tells us. "She was grinding up on Pete like a stripper. It was actually pretty disgusting!"

Clearly out of control, Asslee screamed at Michelle, "I hope you know, the whole time you were dating Pete, I was fucking him!"

Wow. Real classy!

Trachtenberg's response? She took the high road. "I've never said bad things about you. I'm happy for you guys," said Michelle to Ass.

As Simpson proceeded to get louder and in Trachtenberg's face, Mark Hoppus's wife had to drag Asslee away to avoid her physically assaulting Michelle, we're told.

"Pete looked mortified," an eyewitness tells us.

He should have been!

He should have also stood up and kept his wife in check!

At a recent event, Gossip Girl creators and exec producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage admitted that they're no longer sticking to the books for the sake of television.

Josh hinted at a reprise of Michelle Tractenberg's character, Georgina Sparks, saying, "It’s safe to say you haven’t seen the last of her."

There is also rumor of a romance between Chace's and Taylor's characters, although Chase expressed some reservations regarding "because she’s [Taylor] so young and that would be weird."

It's called acting!

And, it's not a rumor - it's happening!

We decided to throw an impromptu house party on Saturday night - thanks Eric! - for no special occasion.

It wasn't anyone's birthday. We were just in town, we knew that a bunch of our friends were in town and since it's rare for so many of us to all be here at the same time, we thought it was the perfect opportunity for a party.

No expectations. No RSVPS.

And we honestly had the best time ever!

Some of our favoritest people in the world showed up, some you don't know and some you might - like Katy Perry, Mika, Josh Groban, Lady Gaga, Amanda Bynes, Emmy Rossum, Michelle Trachtenberg and Diane Warren.

We'd like to apologize to everyone for their hangover, but it sure was worth it!

Sources reveal exclusively to PerezHilton.com that Gossip Girl star Michelle Trachtenberg fainted yesterday during an event in NYC on Tuesday!

What was she on???

Michelle was serving as host for the Sunglass Hut launch of a New Store Experience and Redesign yesterday in Soho.

Midway through the event, while in the middle of an interview, Michelle fainted!

Somewhat of a frenzy occurred, as no one knew what happened.

Though, unlike many others, Trachtenberg stayed committed to her duties as host.

She got right back up and stayed for the whole event!

Let's hope she goes to the doctor soon for a check up though, just in case.

Aside from passing out, it seems she had a good evening. She was outfitted in a Dianne Von Furstenberg dress, trying on several sunglasses, and probably taking home a ton of freebie glasses.

Bitch!

Wow. The CW must be feeling confident that the show's ratings are gonna pick up this coming season!

According to reports, Gossip Girl is going to have an extra long season next year to make up for the episodes missed due to the writer's strike.

The CW is set to make a formal announcement about the extra long season (24 episodes!) at its big upfront event next week.

Additionally, Michelle Trachtenberg is expected to become a full-time cast member on GG!

Y'all can also expect to see Hamptons-based episodes of Gossip Girl.

Um…we will also get to see Fire Island through the eyes of Serena's little bro, Eric?

We better!
