If you missed it yesterday, Jesse McCartney made a fool out of himself by forgetting the words to the National Anthem.

It's pretty damn embarrassing.

But, sometimes, nerves get the best of us and such was the case with Jesse - or so he says. He wrote in his Twitter:

Here At the Nascar race !So much fun! Can't believe I forgot the words to the Anthem! I've performed it 100 times. Bad Nerves today I guess

We'll give you the benefit of the doubt, Jes, but just to be a on the safe side, we'd recommend NEVER singing the National Anthem again. Screw up once and you're embarrassed. Screw up TWICE, and America is embarrassed right along with you.

And it's painful to watch!

At the NASCAR Pepsi 500 in Fontana, CA, Jesse McCartney proved devoid of American pride when he forgot an entire verse of the National Anthem leaving onlookers confused - and rightfully so!

Didn't he practice?!

We have no doubt that Jesse is beating himself up over this, but at least he looked cute!

What the fuck happened to him????

It's nice to see that Jesse McCartney has found himself a lady friend.

Unfortunately for Jesse, she doesn't seem like such a classy lady!

The duo was spotted last night outside the Roger Room bar in West Hollywood. And we're sure Jesse was loving that see-through top she was wearing. Nipply anyone?

On a good note, Jesse's face seems to be acne clear.

On a bad note, it's looking hella puffy (too much boozing?) and that hair color has GOTS TO GO, boo!

We sometimes forget how seksi Jesse McCartney can be. Then, he emerges dressed to the nines and we remember!

Jesse attended the Mandela Day: A 46664 Celebration Concert at Radio City Music Hall in NYC this weekend looking very dapper indeed!

You should clean up more often, Jesse!

Singer Jesse McCartney says that despite all the dramz, he would like to work with both Rihanna and Chris Beat Her Down because he "loves what they do professionally."

Which is sort of fine, but then he opens his head some more and lets the verbal diarrhea flow, telling TV's Extra, "From what I’ve seen and from what I know of [Brown], he's always been a gentleman. I've always known him as just a really nice guy. He's always been supportive of me too. Even in the early years when he was on top and I was just building my way up. He's always been really supportive…I think he'll be okay."

Um, last time we checked, Chris isn't the one with healing multiple contusions!

Jesse, it's hard getting mad at you, but even with that adorable gayface, we just can't agree with you!

Jesse McCartney ia launching a fragrance, y'all. Because…..well, we're not quite sure why.

And, it's not for men!

He's doing it for the ladies (and those dudes that wanna smell like ladies).

McCartney's scented water, Wanted, is coming out in the spring of 2009.
