It's a very plausible choice and from the looks of this promo (above), the episode will be centric around Penn Badgley, Hilary Duff, and Jessica Szohr.

Course, we're going to still hold out for a Dan, Chuck, and Nate threesome!

We think we are going to XOXO this!

We've heard very little of Lady GaGa's much-anticipated appearance on the desperate for some serious ratings Gossip Girl. The cast has only confirmed that she will be appearing and eluded that it will be something pretty spectacular.

Now, we've got some more deets and they come from the lovely GaGa herself. She recently sat down for an interview and explained in more detail what we can expect of her November 16th cameo.

The Lady explained that if she was going to do the show, she was going to have to do something more than just some randomly inserted musical performance. She wanted to do something different:

"I hate TV series performances, because they kind of come in out of nowhere, and everyone's, like, really into the story, and then all of a sudden somebody breaks into song. And it has nothing to do with the storyline, and then it screws everything up. I really sat down with the writers. I was like, 'Look, I want to do this, and the reason I want to do this is because I am trying to say something that is not mainstream in a mainstream capacity. So, if I can say it on your show, that would be, like, a real coup d'état for me as a performance artist.' "

What came of this meeting and the final product, GaGa confesses, is more of an elaborate music video, rather than musical sequence:

"I am the narrator behind what is going on with the characters and make the song part of the moment," she explained about the "crazy performance-art piece." "We used these ladders, and I'm falling off ladders. Ladders are kind of a monster symbol about bad luck. And I have this 35-foot-long dress on and these X's, very gothic-inspired. It was great. They let me do whatever the hell I wanted. It was amazing."

It sounds amazing! We can hardly wait to see it!

And between this and the upcoming threesome, Gossip Girl may be making it's way back to top!

It comes down to the age old question, whose responsible for what kids watch on TV: parents or the networks?

The Parents Television Council has written a very strongly worded letter denouncing the CW and the show Gossip Girl for including an upcoming storyline about a threesome.

It hasn't even aired yet and their panties are in a bunch!

The letter was written by the organization's president, Timothy F. Winter, and urges the producers and affiliates at CW to preempt the episode (which we are fairly certain they would have done anyway.)

He goes on to write:

Gossip Girl routinely depicts teenage characters engaging in promiscuous and consequence-free sexual behavior, and that’s bad enough. But will you now be complicit in establishing a precedent and expectation that teenagers should engage in behaviors heretofore associated primarily with adult films? Behaviors that not only increase health risks, but which are emotionally and psychologically damaging to participants, as well? I certainly hope not, and I’m sure members of your community and parents of children who watch your network expect more of you.

Cuts right to the core of it, doesn't it? And we can see their point, but is it really as bad as all that? So little is actually known about the episode, perhaps it will send a different message than the council thinks.

Or maybe it will be just raunchy, juicy filth!

Were you sad to see Georgina Sparks leave the Upper East Side after only a few episodes on Gossip Girl?

Fear not, because the door is always open for her to return and Michelle Trachtenberg is keen to oblige.

Though taking a break from the show to shoot her own new gig on NBC, Mercy, Michelle insists that audiences have not seen the last of the GG's resident villain:

"Georgina, she's taken a little trip away. She's gone off with a Russian prince, or so she thinks. So, there are so many more great things that Georgina can do. She pretty much just always comes in, destroys their lives for a few episodes, and then is like, 'OK, I'm good now. I think I'll go get a massage in the Caribbean.' "

Though she admits that she and Leighton Meester are pretty close friends, don't expect the same to ever happen between Georgina and Blair Waldorf. Michelle says that her character has a "grudge" and is hell bent to keep in that way!

So what does Michelle think of her bad girl persona:

"She is absolutely amazing. She is the best character I have ever played. She is so much," she gushed. "She is incredibly evil, manipulative and pretty much just takes no prisoners, and she doesn't care about the consequences. She is fantastic."

Maybe when she gets back, she'll bring in some real trouble to help Gossip Girl spike the ratings!

It wouldn't be the first, nor the last show to spoof the holiday classic for some ratings.

There are rumors floating abound that Gossip Girl will be visited by three spirits this season - a la A Christmas Carol. We don't know too many details, other than the rumor that Chuck's dearly departed father returning may play into the storyline by haunting Ed Westwick's character.

Chuck does kind of fit the criteria of a modern Ebenezer Scrooge.

And they sure could use a good gimmick to get some ratings!

First Lady Gaga, now Victoria Beckam!

Gossip Girl is really trying to pull in ratings with some A-List guest stars! (Good plan!)

According to sources, Gossip star Blake Lively worked her magic at the recent launch of Victoria's fashion collection in New York and after a long chat with the former Spice Girl, convinced Victoria to let her run the idea of a guest spot by producers.

From what we hear, Victoria happens to be a huge fan of the show and was only too pleased to agree to the idea and you know the producers probably just about wet themselves when they heard the news!

A source gave away some of the deets, saying:

“Victoria isn’t an actress and wanted her role to be very tongue-in-cheek. And an idea for her to play Ed Westwick’s long-lost mother was quickly vetoed. Victoria joked that she’d rather play his ex-love interest!”

Yes! The latter, please! A little spice for Chuck and Blair is just what the show needs!

In the November issue of Men's Health, Penn Badgley revealed that he isn't the best decision maker as dating Gossip Girl co-star Blake Lively is going against his better judgement.

"Having a relationship with someone you work with might not always be the smartest move," he says. "But it's been wonderful to be in a relationship where we can both identify with what the other is experiencing."

That is, until they get sick of the same ol' shiz!

At least he's hot! Penn could find another job girl!

It seems we have a felon of the Magic Kingdom on our hands!

And the Mouse House doesn't take too kindly to these sorts of things!!!

Blake Lively has been playing the good girl gone bad card from a very young age!

“I grew up going to Disneyland twice a week,” said Blake. “But I was banned for a year because I went to Disney prison. I was really young so I wasn’t responsible for this — it was all my brother’s fault."

Claiming innocence?! Typical!

“You get a stamp when you leave the park which if you put hairspray on it you can transfer it to someone else’s hand, so in the parking lot he went up to somebody and said, ‘Hey can we spray hairspray on your hand?’ and we transferred it," she claims. "And then we go in through the turnstile and there’s people there called Fox Fighters or some weird name, They take us aside and I’m like six-years-old and my brother says ‘No matter what they say do not confess’. He was like a professional felon at twelve!”

Between Gossip Girl and this fiasco, we're sure her parents are very proud!
