Oh, we WISH it was Barack and Michelle Obama!

But it's another fabulous political couple!

Apparently, French President Nicolas Sarkozy and his wife Carla Bruni are planning to have a baby!

Their millionaire friend Jacques Seguela, who introduced them on a blind date in February 2008, says of their family plans:

"Nicolas Sarkozy and Carla Bruni very much want to have a child. Carla has already said so several times, otherwise I would not be allowed to say this. Everyone knows about it now. They are a young couple, and like all young couples, they want to start a family."

Sarkozy is 54 and Carla is 41 so we're not sure we'd call them a "young couple," but they're definitely young enough to have a child these days!

Sarkozy is also rumored to have said that a baby could help secure his re-election in 2012. An insider says:

"It seems the president feels that due to his age, if he doesn't have a child now, it will be too late. He also believes that such a happy event could be a vote winner in 2012. So for both these reasons the timing would be perfect."

The French president already has 3 sons aged 12, 22 and 24 from previous marriages and Carla has a 9-year-old son.

Maybe they'll have a girl and mix it up a little bit, but it's definitely official: Carla's on bump-watch!

Jake Gyllenhaal and Elmo pose together to promote the upcoming 40th season of Sesame Street!

A bunch of celebrities are going to appear on the show this year to celebrate in addition to Jakey including Cameron Diaz, Adam Sandler, Eva Longoria, Ricky Gervais, Paul Rudd, Christina Applegate, Hugh Jackman, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Matthew Fox and Michelle Obama.

How lucky for the kiddies! We may have to tune in ourselves!

And she's got some mad skillz!

Michelle Obama hula-hooped on the South Lawn of the White House on Wednesday during the Healthy Kids Fair. The event promoted healthy eating and proper outdoor exercise for the childrenz!

The First Lady set a great example while totaling 142 hula loops before falling! Plus, she looked damn good while doing it!

So, how does the world's most powerful couple spend their 17th wedding anniversary?!

A quiet night on the town, of course!

The Obamas enjoyed a private dinner at the Blue Duck Tavern near Georgetown on Saturday - just Michelle, Barack and their security detail.

And as usual, they were both looking amazeballs like proud Americans!

So, we're sure they concluded their evening with more than just a fist bump!

Oprah Winfrey is getting herself a bigger, better, and more powerful BFF to chill with. Well, c'mon, if your Oprah, you can't just hang out with ANYBODY!

First Lady Michelle Obama was seen enjoying some quality time with Big O in Copenhagen yesterday, where they attended the opening ceremony for the 121st International Olympic Committee Session.

They were all smiles then, but this morning, we're sure they leaned on each other for support after learning that Chicago was out of the running to host the next Summer Olympics.

At least you have each other!

Regardless of the strong support system including President Barack Obama, Michelle Obama and even Oprah, the International Olympics Committee eliminated Chicago in the first round of voting, followed quickly by Tokyo being eliminated in the second round.

Mayor Richard Daley is said to be very disappointed and it is unknown whether or not the city will regroup to bid for the 2020 Summer Games.

The reaction in Chicago is probably mixed as a recent poll found that public support fell to 47 percent, most likely due to the worry of increased taxes.

The final decision between Madrid and Rio de Janeiro has yet to be announced.

So they have united!

Both Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey have arrived in Copenhagen on Wednesday to support the Chicago bid team for the 2016 Olympics!

The First Lady says:

"So happy to be here and I'm so excited. We have a lot of work to do. We're not taking anything for granted. I'm going to talk to some voters. Chicago is a wonderful host city, great people, great facilities. It knows about the sports and the hospitality is like no other and a city that works really well."

The International Olympic Committee will be making their decision in about two days.

Somebody's feeling threatened!

Spencer Pratt is opening his mouth again saying that "Speidi is Barack and Michelle famous, not Kardashian famous. The fact that USA Today said we're the third most famous couple in the world after Brangelina and The Obamas is amazing."

Really?!

Pratt also goes on to burn former Hills co-stars Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge, saying that they both made huge mistakes for their careers by leaving the show.

He might actually be right about this one. He says of frienemy Lauren:

"Her ego ruined her life and her career — I pray for her every day and we'd all love for her to come back to The Hills when she realizes her move didn't work. She tried to put MTV over a barrel by demanding more money than God."

Point taken.

And Audrina?

"The day she can hold 22 minutes of content with her brain, is the day I'm walking on Mars with no oxygen tank barefoot. Unfortunately, Audrina will have to wake up from that dream soon!"

Ha! He might be King Douche, but he sure makes for some great sound bites!
