With Michael Jackson's public viewing coming up, the question remains where the King of Pop will be laid to rest.

As we mentioned earlier, a public viewing has been confirmed for this Friday at Neverland Ranch, followed by a private memorial service scheduled for Sunday.

But, now, Rudy Clay, the mayor of Jackson's hometown of Gary, Indiana, is contacting the Jackson family in order to make get MJ there - and keep him there!

And even if Jackson won't be buried in Indiana, they at least want to hold a memorial service.

In fact, a memorial service has already been set for July 10th at the U.S. Steel Works ballpark in Gary.

According to Clay, "I believe that his body will lie in state in Gary, Indiana. Now, it may not happen, but I believe it will." Adding that it would be "a memorial that's fit for the prince of peace and a memorial that's fit for Gary, Indiana's favorite son, the greatest entertainer that ever lived."

As for the burial site, it can go near a proposed Jackson family museum and performing arts center.

But, we're guessing the final decision might be up to Jackson's parents - or his own will!

Give us some peanuts, Cracker Jack and Jacob Black!

Twilight teen hearthrob Taylor Lautner was one of many celebs in the stands for the Dodgers vs. Colorado Rockies game at Dodger Stadium in El Lay on Monday night.

So nice to see at least one of the Twilight stars that showers!

Hopefully he doesn't smoke too!

Doing good and looking good!

The stars came out in droves to support the Trevor Project at their annual summer gala in New York City on Monday night.

The Trevor Project focuses on "crisis and suicide prevention efforts among LGBTQ youth."

Those in attendance included Jewel, Lance Bass, Cheyenne Jackson, Dustin Lance Black, Meghan McCain, Mark Consuelos, Caroline Rhea, and Carson Kressley.

The Trevor Project is also the only organization in the US that operates a "nationwide, around-the-clock crisis and suicide prevention helpline for LGBTQ youth."

For some reason we're not surprised Hayden Panettiere is ok with getting naked for the whole world to see. In fact, she bares her body in her new flick, I love You, Beth Cooper.

Panettiere plays Cooper, a high school cheerleader. Can we say typecasting?

Cooper is the object of affection for a nerdy character played by Denis Cooverman. During a steamy locker room scene in the film, she drops her towel.

Shocker!

But, according to Hayden, she's fine with the decision. She reveals, "If I can't flaunt it at 20, come on! I mean I might as well show it now."

Yea, might as well. Hoochie!

She adds, "It didn't bother me much. I think when the person who's doing it gets all uncomfortable and shy, then it's other people around who get more uncomfortable because they're uncomfortable. I mean I was fine – everyone was really professional."

But she's not all conceited.

Hayden admits that "The older I get, the more comfortable I get with it, but I still have my days where I don't feel great … and I'm having my fat day where I have to put something baggy on and sweatpants. Or just with the way people perceive me. I have plenty of insecurities."

We're betting the only reason there's a nude scene of Hayden in the flick is to sell tickets.

Duh!

Sacha Baron Cohen's babymomma, Isla Fisher, was spotted with her adorable daughter, Olive Cohen, and a gal pal heading to grab some breakfast in West Hollywood.

The 20-month-old Olive was all smiles as mommy and her friend swung her along.

So, just when do Isla and Sacha plan on getting married?

The two seem to have been engaged for a while now!

Barbra Streisand is heading back to the silver screen!

Judd Apatow prodigy Seth Rogen is currently in the development stages of a film starring himself and Babs called Mother's Curse!!

Little has been said about the Rogen/Streisand flick, with even Rogen himself stating Mother's Curse is "one of the many projects I may or may not do in the next fifteen years," but Dreamworks exec turned Paramound big wig Adam Goldman has reportedly taken the comedy on as a "pet project."

We can't wait!

While fans and family alike prepare to say their final farewells to the King of Pop, Quincy Jones says he won't be attending the funeral for Michael Jackson.

A close friend and music producer for MJ, Quincy confesses that he has spent too much of his life mourning the deaths of his friends.

"I won't go to any more funerals as long as I live," he says. "I can't handle it."

We're sure it is a terribly difficult time for everyone and we hope that Quincy, as well as all of MJ's family and friends, find a way to grieve in their own ways.

Innovative German modern dance choreographer Pina Bausch passed away on Tuesday, at age 68, in a Wuppertal hospital.

"An unexpected death carried her away five days after being diagnosed with cancer," said a source. "Only the Sunday before last she was on the stage with her company at the Wuppertal Opera House."

The choreographer made a name for herself at the Metropolitan Opera in New York, where she was known for a highly personalized style of dance, including exaggerated forms of expression and scenery.

Later this month, she was to present a performance of the The Seven Deadly Sins at the Chekhov International Theatre Festival in Moscow.

Bausch did what she loved until the very end!
