She Can Sing, But Can She Sing AND Act???

Fergie Ferg has just been cast in Rob Marshall’s feature film adaptation of the musical Nine for The Weinstein Company.

Other female leads in the musical already include Kate Hudson (eek!), Penelope Cruz, Sophia Loren and Nicole Kidman.

The musical is set around the women in the life of the main character Guido Contini.

Guido’s role will be played by Daniel Day-Lewis.

The original Nine opened on Broadway back in 1982.

The last time Fergie “acted” was in the remake of Poseidon.

That ship sank. Let’s hope this one doesn’t too!
