The legendary Dolly Parton is so proud of her Broadway babies!

9 to 5's run on the Great White Way is coming to a close on September 6th, and Miz Parton has released a statement on her official website expressing her gratitude to the cast and crew.

Aww!

Says Dolly:

I couldn't have asked for a better experience on my first Broadway show. I've had the priviledge of working with an amazing group of people who have become like family to me. I can't wait to for this show to hit the road next year so people across the country can see why I'm so proud of everyone involved.

Dolly is truly an angel!

As if Dolly Parton wasn't already fabulous, she can now add a PHD to her list of accomplishments.

Our favorite country diva received her honory degree in humane and musical letters from University of Tennessee in Knoxville. The audience of 1,069 new graduates from the College of Arts and Sciences gave Parton a rightly deserved standing ovation.

Dolly was thrilled and even made a quip or two in her acceptance speech:

"So when people say something about 'Double-D,' they will be thinking of something entirely different."

Loves her.

9 to 5 the musical star Stephanie J. Block has just recorded the most exquisite cover of the Dolly Parton classic I Will Always Love You.

Block has reworked the song as a duet - and she's got Dolly herself joining her on vocals!!!!

Soooooo good.

Parton came out to support her former 9 to 5 co-star Jane Fonda by attending the opening night of the former aerobicising actress' new Broadway play, 33 Variations, Monday night in the NYC.
