Horror author Stephen King announced this week that he's started writing a sequel to The Shining!

King revealed at an appearance in Toronto, Canada, that the new novel, with a working title of Doctor Sleep, will jump ahead 40 years from where the last novel left off and follow the story of Danny Torrance, son of The Shining's lead character, Jack.

The author joked with the crowd, telling them he's a bit nervous to write the novel, but said, "Maybe if I keep talking about it I won't have to write it."

Joanna Krupa of the latest season of Dancing with the Stars poses topless with her pup Rugby in a new PETA ad promoting pet adoption.

Joanna says:

"We're trying to spread the word that breeding isn't the way to go. Somebody needs to put their foot down and stop this breeding and these puppy mills. … they're in these little tiny cages, and all they're doing is breeding their whole life. It makes me so angry that our government doesn't do anything about it. So I am!"

The Babyshambles frontman cancelled a slew of shows back in October due to "exhaustion", but Pete recently revealed to reporters the true reason for the cancellation - his heart stopped!!!!

Doperty swears up and down that drugs weren't the cause, but explains the situation as: "I was running into the walls, making steering wheel signs with my hands. And then I just… stopped. My body just stopped."

After an overnight stay in the hospital, the formerly (ha!) drugged-out singer was as good as new, and returned home to rest.

After reporting to the police that she was bitten by a male in his 40's after a screening of New Moon in Michigan, 17-year-old Erin Westrate came clean with the cops.

Witnesses told police that they didn't see any biting and after grilling Westrate about her claim she confessed that she lied about the whole thing!

Well not entirely - apparently the man did kiss her on the neck, but she was a "willing participant!"

The girl could now face criminal charges for filing a false police report.
