So she is doing Broadway after all, just not a musical (which is probably best).

Scarlett Johansson will be starring in Arthur Miller's A View From The Bridge alongside Liev Schreiber with performances beginning December 28 and the official opening on January 24.

The show is set to run for 14 weeks.

Liev plays Eddie Carbone, "a Brooklyn longshoreman obsessed with his 17-year-old niece Catherine" played by ScarJo. When Catherine falls in love, his jealousy "erupts in a rage that consumes him, his family, and his world."

Sounds intense, but is anyone really going to buy that Scarlett is 17?

Broadway must really be wanting to ca$$$h in with all of these famous movie stars taking a turn on the Great White Way! Duh.

Kristin Chenoweth is going to be starring in the upcoming production of Promises, Promises opposite Will and Grace's Sean Hayes.

Scarlett Johansson was rumored to be considered for the part of Fran, but we're thrilled that the producers chose the amazingly talented Cheno!

It's going to be a bit of a darker role than we're used to seeing her in. The character of Fran is a suicidal secretary in love with her married boss who treats her like crap!

We love her on TV, but we're so happy she's getting back to her roots to belt out the tunes once again on the Great White Way!

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith must be some proud parents.

Their two kids, 11-year-old Jaden, and 8-year-old daughter Willow have been named youth ambassadors of Hasbro's Project Zambi.

Project Zambi is "a global initiative dedicated to raising awareness of the estimated 15 million African children who have been orphaned by the AIDS epidemic. "

And Willow and Jaden would like to do their part to help out.

The siblings even spoke out about the initiative and how important it is to them. Says Jaden:

"Willow and I joined Project Zambi to represent all the kids out there who want to make the world a better place. We want to encourage kids everywhere to lend a hand and join us in spreading the word about how much children who have been orphaned by AIDS in Africa need our help."

With Willow adding:

"Project Zambi is about kids and for kids, and it's so important that we all learn to take care of each other. Even from the other side of the world, kids in Africa will know they have friends who care about them."

Too cute!

The brother and sister duo have joined other celebs, such as Leonardo DiCaprio, George Clooney, Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake, Scarlett Johansson, The Jonas Bros, and many others in autographing custom-designed elephant models which will be available via a celebrity charity auction.

We're glad the kids have taken such a role in helping out, but we need to ask, who the hell did the Photoshop for this press photo?

The gorgeous Scarlett Johansson is rumored to be starring in the Broadway revival of the musical Promises, Promises alongside Sean Hayes of Will and Grace fame.

We kinda LOVES this!

Originally Anne Hathaway was said to be taking the leading lady role of Fran the waitress, but it appears Mrs. Ryan Reynolds is now on the table.

We love us some ScarJo, but can her voice carry a Broadway musical?

What's this? Do our eyes deceive us or could it possibly be Ryan Reynolds and his wife, Scarlett Johansson, out in public together?!

Gasp!

The couple were seen breathing some fresh Midtown Manhattan air yesterday, as they are in town preparing for Ryan to host SNL. They actually just celebrated their one year anniversary on Sunday. Bet they did it in disguises and under the cover of night so no one would see them together.

Such a hard life being a celebrity couple. We really feel bad for them. (No we don't.)

While many celebs were out at the Emmy's on Sunday, the lovely Scarlet Johansson was spending a peaceful afternoon with her beau, Ryan Reynolds.

And although there's been reports that the duo are having marital problems, that didn't seem like the case yesterday.

ScarJo and Reynolds were spotted grabbing some lunch in Los Angeles and spending some quality time together on his bike.

Guess they figured with the majority of the paparazzi at the Emmy's, they'd be free to walk around town without being spotted. Unfortunately for them that wasn't the case, but it didn't seem to bother the two much.

After lunch, they each put on their helmets (safety first!) and headed off.

Let's hope this means their relationship is doing better.
