Kimmel Inspired By Letterman - He's Effing A Staffer!

kimdave.jpg

Can't these guys find someone who's NOT on the payroll?

After the break-up with his girlfriend of 5 years Sarah Silverman earlier this year, Jimmy Kimmel has found love again - with an employee!!!

The late night host has been dating Molly McNearey, a longtime staffer on his show, for several months!

"After Jimmy and Sarah broke up, Molly and Jimmy both found themselves single, and they clicked," claims a source. "They're really happy together."

McNearey began as an assistant to the executive producer of Live! in July 2003, and 3 years later was promoted to the writing staff. She has held a co-head writer position since May 2008.

And although it may seem like a Letterman-esque foray, an insider insists that "during work hours, they keep things professional."

Of course, they do!

And we bet they don't shit where they eat either!

Over. Again.

Late Night talker Jimmy Kimmel and his long-time girlfriend, the ferociously funny Sarah Silverman, have split.

The pair first broke up last July after five years of dating, only to reunite a few months later.

This time, though, it seems that's it's over over.

“Sarah initiated the split this time,” says a source. "He's bummed."

Seconds another insider, "Seems like it's over for good this time. He's sad because he just bought a new place and now has nobody to share it with."

Oh, well. They gave it a good fight!

Comedy Central Finally Open Their Wallets For Silverman!

wenn5219370sarah.jpg

It's official!

The Sarah Silverman Show is on for season number three!

Execs over at Comedy Central came up with the perfect solution to the budget dramz - sharing the bill with Comedy Central sister network, Logo!

The show will be budgeted over $1.1 million per episode, a large jump from the modest $850,000 offered only a matter of days ago.

By ponying up a portion of the budget costs, Logo will have clearance to air new eps when the season premieres in early 2010!

When asked about the final decision, Silverman told reporters "We're happy. All we ever wanted was just to make our show. Nothing fancy — just our show."

Good deal!!

Saved by the gays!!!!!

Playing Hardball! Sarah Silverman Show May Be Going Off-Air Due To Budget Woes

silverman.jpg

The Sarah Silverman Show may be no more if Comedy Central doesn't pony up some cash!

Going into its third season, the WGA Award-nominated show saw its show budget cut by 20% by the cable network.

Comedy Central cited the crap economic times as the reason for the funding slash.

Insiders say the series' budget for season three is $850,000, down from the $1.1 million an episode for the show's second season.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, late last week, Silverman, on behalf of the executive producers, told the net that they can't proceed with a third season without the money.

The news jolted the channel's bosses into action to find a budget compromise that would keep the show on the air.

Both sides continued their back-and-forth during the weekend.

People close to the negotiations are optimistic that a compromise will be reached today, Monday.

So despite the fact that neither of them will publicly admit it, Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman appear to be definitely back together.

The two have been spotted out and about on numerous occasions since their "split."

Just Tuesday night, they were spotted at the GQ Men of the Year party in Los Angeles, enjoying some complimentary In-N-Out burgers.

Yum!

Let's see if this time around the relationship will last.

Sarah Silverman, the Book! Coming Soon

book-bitches.jpg

Three of HarperCollins' imprints are all after Sarah Silverman's new book.

HarperCollins just landed the deal after a $2.5 million bid. Now it is just down to deciding which brand to publish it under.

Silverman and her agent - Trident Media Group CEO Daniel Strone - now just need to sit down and make a decision. They will meet with editors from each of the imprints before making a decision.

The three imprints usually publish similar nonfiction material and so they compete frequently, which ought to expediate the decision-making process.

The book is a collection of short comedic essays, apparently much in the vein of Tina Fey's upcoming book.

Should be a hoot (and slightly offensive) to read once they figure out all the nitty-gritty!

Speaking of books??? Have you pre-ordered your copy of ours yet????
