Although Shrek the Musical didn't do as well as hoped, the movies have always done BIG business!

Now, Dreamworks execs are hoping to cash in on their franchise making a Shrek spinoff!

The concept? It'll be centered on Shrek's secondary sidekick, Puss in Boots.

Tom Wheeler is writing the flick's screenplay for the spinoff, which will detail how Puss and Shrek first met.

Joining the cast to voice the flick will be Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek. And Zach Galifianakis is said to be in negotiations to voice Humpty Dumpty.

The DreamWorks Animation movie is set to hit theaters on November 4, 2011.

Little Valentina Pinault, super-adorbs spawn of Salma Hayek and French bajillionaire Francois-Henri Pinault, had what looks to be a lovely day out with her dad in Beverly Glen Park in El Lay over the weekend.

We never noticed this before but even though she looks a lot like her mami, Salami, there's quite a bit of papa Pinault in her face, too!

She's a cutie!

But please, someone go cut Valentina's bangs. Child can hardly see through all that hair in her face.

Out with a couple of her girlfriends on Wednesday night, Salma Hayek threw a hissy fit at the Chateau Marmont restaurant when she wasn't able to be seated immediately without a reservation.

The hostess assured the Latina hottie that she'd get the first available table, but that wasn't good enough!

Hayek continued shouting in Spanish and didn't let up until one of the parties left the restaurant, freeing a table.

Don't mess with Salami when she wants to eat!!!

Update: Salma's publicist tells us, "Salma went to the Chateau last night for a drink later in the evening to celebrate her birthday with friends. When she arrived (around 10pm) her entire party was already there and seated. She joined her family and friends at the table and had a lovely evening."

We kid. We kid.

This is actually a first look at Salma Hayek's character in the upcoming movie Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant.

The flick is based off of a series of young-adult books about a boy who becomes an apprentice to a vampire in a traveling circus.

Salma plays Madame Truska, "the hirsute woman in a traveling freak show and girlfriend of the titular vampire" who sprouts that nasty beard whenever she gets "passionate" with the vamp.

Freaky, yet fantastic.

We'd watch out Jon Peters! Salma Hayek is one wicked pissed Latina!

The successful producer (Peters) has been shopping around an autobiography proposal about his career and personal life. In the document, Peter listed a slew of past lovers including Barbra Streisand, Kim Basinger, Pamela Anderson, Nicolette Sheridan, Sharon Stone, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Salma.

That's some dirty laundry list!

Word has reached Salma about this accusation and she released a statement denouncing the whole thing.

"I have never dated nor had a romantic relationship with Mr. Peters," she says. " y name has been continually linked to his romantic liaisons, and I want to put a stop to this lie."

That's one down. Whose next to call this guy out?

Pam? Kim? Barbra?

It must be nice to be Salma Hayek.

The Latin hottie married babydaddy French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault last month for the second time this year.

And after their elaborate star-studded ceremony in Venice, Italy, the two headed off for a romantic honeymoon.

The happy couple departed to an island just off the eastern coast of Africa, In Touch reports. And once they arrived, they had to charter a helicopter to North Island and checked into an exclusive hotel where they're enjoying a 4,800 square-foot villa.

An inside source says, “Salma was hugging François and constantly kissing him. They were so into each other.”

Wonder if this marriage will last more than 5 years.

As we mentioned last week, Salma Hayek was set to marry babydaddy, French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault, for the second time this year.

The two originally tied the knot in a civil ceremoney on Valentine's Day in Paris. But the wedding this weekend in Venice, Italy was over the top.

The ceremony took place at Venice's opera house La Fenice, with the couple's 19-month-old daughter Valentina as a flower girl. Also in the ceremony were Francois-Henri's two other kids from his first marriage.

Oh, and for some reason the about 150 guest at the ceremony sang Over the Rainbow. How, uhm, romantic.

As for the guests, they included the obvious Penelope Cruz along with Woody Harrelson, Anna Wintour, Bono, Charlize Theron, and even France's former President Jacques Chirac.

The nuptials were a masked ball event with guests wearing black and gold masks as they arrived.

So what's next? A wedding in South America? Why stop at just two weddings?!?

The two wed on Valentine's Day in Paris. Yea, we know, cheesy!

Well, one ceremony isn't enough for these two. So they're going to have another! And it's bound to be a celebrity packed event.

Antonia Banderas has already announced he'll be attending along with his hag wife, Melanie Griffith. Luis Migueland even Penelope Cruz will likely be in attendance as well.

As for wedding 2.0, it'll take place this Saturday in Italy inside the Palazzo Grassi palace, which, coincidentally, was the same place the couple first met back in 2006 at a gala party.

That totally beats out marrying on V-Day!
