The Vampire Diaries Gets A Full Season!

wenn-vamppdiaries__opt.jpg

Looks like the vampire trend isn't going anywhere soon!

The CW ordered a full season of its latest and what seems to be its only hit at the moment, The Vampire Diaries.

The show is currently the most-watched on the network and raked in 3.9 million viewers during last week's episode.

As for the lackluster Melrose Place, the CW has ordered only 5 more episodes and seems to be holding out to see if the ratings will spike at all with the return of Heather Locklear.

And if Heather can't save it, we don't think anyone can.

Asslee Simpson could end up sharing the same fate as Mushy Fartone!

Mushy Doesn't Think TV Is For Her

wenn2622110_e.jpg

Funny how Mischa Barton's realized this after her show The Beautiful Life was scrapped after only 2 episodes.

Mush Mush says "I think I need to back away from the whole TV approach. That whole world of network television, probably isn't, for me, a good idea now. I need to start reading for more serious roles."

Ha! You mean like your role on the OC?

The failed TV star wants everyone to believe she's being considered for roles but she's "passing on all the [early] offers, because that's not the stuff you want to do."

Do you even have that option right now?

We gotta give her some credit, though. This is her second time screaming to the press about being on the market for a job opening up about her current career situation.

Keep on screaming Mush Mush! Those execs will make the mistake of hiring you someday.

The O.C. Curse!

oc.jpg

Much like the Seinfeld curse, except no one is funny!

After the abrupt cancellation of Mischa Barton's The Beautiful Life, former O.C. co-star Benjamin McKenzie had his show cancelled as well.

Although McKenzie outshines Mushy in looks, talent and the ability to keep on an even emotional keel and for that, he's being rewarded.

His El Lay police drama Southland may have been taken off NBC's line-up, but there's a chance that it will find a new home on TNT.

"We continually look at all programming opportunities that fit our portfolio of brands," said the cable network.

And it sounds like they have a good chance!

Because the only thing TNT likes more than Kevin Costner films is its cop shows!

Don't Back Down, Mushy

wenn2605779misch.jpg

Keep on reachin' for the stars, Mush Mush!

Even though The CW's The Beautiful Life was canned after two episodes, Mischa is positive she'll be able to pick up a new job in no time!

…Really????

"There's a bunch of projects I always wanted to make, so I'm going back to thinking about things again," says Mush Mush.

Thinking about things is always positive!

Barton continues: "I just started looking at films."

Transitioning from a failed TV show to motion pictures???

Good luck, Mushy!

Beautiful Life Actress, Out Of A Job and PISSED at The CW!

wenn2571094sp.jpg

Sara Paxton of the recently canceled show The Beautiful Life is none to pleased with the CW's decision to give the show the axe after only two episodes.

Paxton opens up about the situation in a new interview and, bless her heart, she thought the show was "amazing!"

Here are some HIGHlights:

On how the cast was told the show was canceled:
It’s unbelievable the way that they told us—we were all in the middle of work…And all of a sudden, they got the call, and the producers had to make an announcement on set that we were done—that we were over! And I was sitting there in shock. I couldn’t believe that in the middle of work, the rug was pulled out beneath our feet…Everyone was just devastated. It was horrible. Terrible.

On the lack of marketing for the show:
We were worried because our show didn’t get as much marketing as other shows. Everywhere you go in New York City, you see Melrose Place posters everywhere—I see Vampire Diaries everywhere. And CW, they just didn’t put any money into advertising for our show whatsoever.

On executive producer Ashton Kutcher:
I think he’s just as disappointed as all of us. This had his name on it, and it was his first scripted series. I don’t understand how they’ve given so many shows in the past a chance, and not ours. I mean why ours? Why us? It blows my mind.

On The CW's decision not to air the remaining episodes:
It’s a slap in the face! It’s almost like we were part of this family and now suddenly we’re dropped. And oh my God, episodes three, four and five were going to be amazing. That’s what really sucks. You’ve got to have time to let a show get its legs and find an audience, especially when they’re putting zero dollars into advertising…And if they had just given it more time to really catch a fan base I think it could’ve been huge for the CW. I really think they missed out, and I really think they’re missing out on a huge opportunity for themselves.

We don't know if we'd go that far, but we do think it was a pretty harsh decision after only TWO episodes.

Don't worry, Sara! You're a cute girl and you'll get another job.

Not sure if we can say the same for Mushy!

Ashton's Show Cancelled! Mischa's Out Of Work!

wenn2523094__opt.jpg

After just TWO episodes!

The first casualty of the new fall TV season!

We saw this one coming a mile away!

The Ashton Kutcher-produced and Mushy Fartone-starring show, The Beautiful Life, is dead.

The CW just cancelled the drama about pretty models after some very ugly ratings.

To be fair, they didn't really give it a chance.

Cancelled after just two episodes????

Ouch!

Production on the NYC-shot show, which had been filming its seventh episode, was shut down Friday.

Hopefully this won't give Mushy another tooth ache for reals!

Mushy Goes Goth!

mischa.jpg

Did her tooth make her do this?!

Morticia Mischa Barton was spotted strolling around NYC looking like she just raided a Hot Topic.

And it doesn't bode well for her supposed new, shiny disposition!

At least Mush Mush found an outfit that represents her true mental state - dark and full of holes!

Ugly Ratings For The Beautiful Life

the-beautiful-life-cast-pho.jpg

Mischa Barton better get ready to start pounding the pavement looking for work. Her new show, The Beautiful Life: TBL (That stands for "To Be Laid-Off"), is TANKING in the ratings.

It's like the show isn't even on the air!

The show scored an astonishingly awful 0.6 rating with adults 18-49, with only 1.4 million viewers overall!

Weak!

The night belonged to ABC, with its new premiere comedies Modern Family and Cougar Town, as well as Dancing With The Stars. Despite the heavy competition over at the Mouse network, the growing phenomenon know as Glee held its own with 6.6 million viewers, even beating out the premiere episode of NBC's Law and Order:SVU in the 18-49 ratings. (It still had more overall viewers, though. Old people love their SVU.)

Sorry, Mushy! Try not to have another "tooth ache" over it, okay?

There will be other shows.

Mushy Has No Clue Where She Is!

wenn5353191.jpg

She was probably faded!

Mischa Barton showed up for a screening of Michael Moore's Capitalism: A Love Story this week, but it was completely by accident!

According to the NY Post, "Mischa Barton showed up and was asking for tickets. She started walking the red carpet and saw it was sponsored by Esquire Soho, the men's magazine's Soho Mews penthouse. Then, our witness says, 'She took one look around and realized she was in the wrong place.'"

The idiot finally headed across the street to the Metropolitan Opera's opening of Tosca!

Although, many people were confused by the choice of Moore's venue, as attendees were seated in the City Balcony - a part of the theater sponsored by the greed plagued Citibank.

But, no excuse for Mushy!

She didn't even make it inside!
