No one would argue that Mariah Carey is a diva. She's earned the right, we all accept it. Mariah has too, which is why from time to time we hear about her ridiculous demands and it doesn't surprise us one bit.

For example, a host of a British talk show who recently interviewed MiMi while she was in the UK explained that she was baffled about the amount of people in Carey's entourage that do things for her.

It may be that this Brit had just never met such a major celeb before, but she recounted her disbelief at the truck load of Mariah's people in the studio, each having their own separate task. Two members of Mariah's entourage helped MiMi sit down on the sofa while another was behind the camera directing the cameraman to get the right angle.

Oh, and she travels with her own toilet paper! Only the best for MiMi's behind!

Of course, Mariah's reps quickly responded to the Brit's allegations, calling them "clear, gross exaggeration”.

Maybe, maybe not. But we don't hold any of this against her. If she wants to truck along some Charming to avoid chafing, who are we to judge!

A big congrats goes out to Mimi!

In the first of many accolades we imagine, Mariah Carey received the Breakthrough Performance Award for her role in Precious this afternoon from the The Palm Springs International Film Festival. Mariah will receive her award at The Palms Springs Convention Center on Jan. 5th.

This more than makes up for making us sit through Glitter!

Where can we get one!

Mariah Carey rolled up to her fragrance Thursday night in London in one interesting ride! She had commissioned a Rolls-Royce Phantom with her seksi self plastered all over it.

Some people might consider that self-indulgent and vain. Then again, some people aren't Mariah Carey!

We all knew Mimi was a diva, but we underestimated her severe bout of the crazies!

In preparation for Mariah Carey's Christmas lights switch-on ceremony at a Westfield shopping center in London, the diva has a set of ridiculous demands!

Mimi requested to be surrounded by 20 white kittens and 100 white doves at the event, but was met by a stronghold most commonly known as the health and safety department.

"We did manage to source the doves that we were going to release into the sky, but the kittens proved terribly difficult," claims a source. "In the end, it was made clear that due to health and safety, there was no way we could have the animals at Westfield. Pets are not allowed in Westfield - that rule would apply for everyone."

But, that doesn't rule out insects - at least fake ones! Mariah wanted to be showered with butterfly-shaped confetti while standing on a pink podium and waving a magic wand!!!

We had no idea there was a Christmas fairy!

And if there was, she would arrive in style!!! Mimoo demanded a Rolls-Royce car to take her to the event along with 80 security guards and her entourage of 15.

WTF?!

"We have worked extremely hard to make sure that Mariah's event is fantastic. Even the model of car had to be changed six times to one that her people liked," continued the source.

She's not demanding!!! Mimi just wants a gawdy, white Christmas in which all eyes are on her!!!

People don't want to ring in the New Year with Mimi!

Mariah Carey's New Year's Eve concert at Madison Square Garden is facing dismal sales numbers!

It's her first New York City concert in years and sources tell us that is has THOUSANDS of unsold seats. Tickets are available on all levels and there are tons of unsold VIP packages as well!

Uh oh, Mimoo!

Maybe you and hubby Nick Cannon should opt for a cozy night in instead?

Once wasn't enough for this guy!

Rapper Gucci Mane was sentenced to 12 months in jail on Thursday for violating his probation.

Back in 2005, he pleaded guilty to assault and was sentenced to a year in jail last September since he didn't complete his court-mandated 600 hours of community service. He ended up serving 6 months.

Gucci worked hard on his music after his release, taking his career to the next level. Very popular in the underground scene, the rapper was just starting to appear in more mainstream music in songs by Mario, Omarion, Mariah Carey and 50 Cent!

"Spotlight" featuring Usher is Gucci's current single.

Now he'll have plenty of time to work on new music hanging out behind bars!
