So sad!

The dynamic dueling piano men have had to postpone more tour dates.

Originally, the dates were pushed back due to Elton John's bout with influenza. Now, we hear it is Billy Joel who is feeling ill and has caused the postponement.

No details as to what is afflicting Billy, but we hope that it is nothing too serious.

Good news for Elton John. It seems our poppa has fully recovered after being diagnosed with a serious case of E. Coli a few weeks ago and having to cancel several performances.

Elton was treated at a London hospital and released the first week of November.

And, now, after getting over the flu and the E. coli infection, John is heading back to work!

Elton's rep says he's "feeling much better" and is ready to attend his Elton John AIDS Foundation's An Enduring Vision tonight in New York City.

And get ready for a night full of big names as Anderson Cooper is set to host the event and Sharon Stone and former President Bill Clinton will be honored.

Glad to see Elton's back to work - and doing good!

Earlier this week, we reported that Elton John had been diagnosed with a "serious case" of E. coli.

This resulted in the cancellation of several concerts as Elton had to be treated at a London hospital.

But, good news, earlier today Elton was just released from the hospital.

And according to his rep, Gary Farrow, Elton is "fine" now.

Thank goodness!

Let's hope he keep feeling well.

How Paris Hilton of her!

Victoria Beckham has splurged on TWO of the latest celebrity must-have accessory- the micro pig! Spending £1,400 on the pigs, they are a Christmas present for husband David Beckham.

Supposedly she's been calling them Elton and David after friends Sir Elton John and his partner David Furnish, but David wants to name them Pinky and Perky.

Cute!

The pigs will live with them at their Beckingham Palace mansion in Hertfordshire and a source says of the pigs, "[They] are incredibly clean and easy to house-train. They will be given the run of the place and could even end up watching TV on David and Victoria's laps."

Can you imagine a pig on Posh's lap?!

We can't either!

Sir Elton's been feeling sickly!

After canceling several concerts in the UK and Ireland in October due to influenza, it's now being reported that Elton John has been diagnosed with a "serious case" of E. coli.

As a result his 3 upcoming gigs in Seattle and Portland with Billy Joel have been postponed.

Elton is currently being treated at a London hospital for the E. coli bacterial infection.

Ticket holders have been asked to hang on to them as they work out a new schedule for the postponed shows.

Feel better soon, Elton!

Earlier this week, Elton John was told he could not adopt an adorable tot from Ukraine due to a number of the country's legal reasons.

But, there may be hope! Kind of.

Ukraine's family, youth and sports minister, Yuri Pavlenko has had a slight change of heart regarding the adoption of 14 month old Lev.

On Thursday, Pavlenk said that Elton "has the right and opportunity to invite the family of this boy to visit him, take them under his guardianship and help him grow into a good person."

So Ukraine won't let Elton and partner David Furnish legally adopt him, but they'll let them financially take care of the child under a "guardianship"?

That doesn't seem completely fair, but we know Elton and David would be able to give Lev a better life.

Even if Elton agrees to the guardianship, he's still likely to face opposition with any attempt at caring for the boy because of the country's Orthodox and Catholic churches view on gay adoption.

Sad.

Oh, no!

As we reported earlier today, Elton John and his partner David Furnish were ready to begin the process of adopting Lev, a Ukrainian toddler.

But the Ukrainian government has very strict adoption rules and it appears that not even Sir Elton can break them!

John and Furnish have been united under a civil partnership in the UK since 2005, but Ukrainian law states that a couple must be legally married.

Additionally they ban gay couples from adopting and potential parents must not be 45 years older than the child they wish to adopt.

That's 3 strikes against the couple!

There is a little bit of light at the end of the tunnel, however.

If Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko grants a presidential dispensation, they would be able to bring baby Lev home on the condition that they adopt his brother as well, who is also at the orphanage. We are unsure how likely this request would be granted, though.

This is a real shame. They would be able to provide Lev with a fantastic life!

That photo is too precious!

After touring a Ukrainian orphanage in keeping with the efforts of the Elton John AIDS Foundation, baby Lev has stolen the hearts of Sir Elton and his partner, David Furnish.

Elton said that Furnish "always wanted to adopt a child and I always said no, because I am 62 and because of the traveling I do." But since meeting the adorable Ukrainian toddler, he's had a change of heart!

The recent death of Elton's friend, keyboardist Guy Babylon, has partly inspired his decision to adopt because "what better opportunity to replace someone I lost than to replace him with someone I can give a future to."

The couple could face some obstacles in adopting from the Ukraine, but we wish them the best of luck!

Little Lev sure looks happy in the arms of Poppa Elton!
