Kermit, Miss Piggy, and the gang are using the single camera sitcom style, complete with direct-to-camera confessionals popularized by The Office and later used by ABC on their hit Modern Family.
Even the show’s title font looks like The Office!
But of course they’re also keeping their trademark self-referential humor! Gonzo even calls out that the doc-style device is overused!
