No Show

As we mentioned last month, Akon was due in court Wednesday to face criminal charges.
However, he was a no-show.
Naughty. Naughty!
The judge has ordered him to appear in court on September 3rd for a possible deposition.
If no deposition is needed, then Akon’s case will be put on the trial calendar.
The case stems from last year’s incident when a crazed Akon threw a 15 year-old fan off stage at the 2007 KFEST concert in June.
Akon was last in court in December of 2007, when he pleaded not guilty to the charges of second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a minor.
As for today’s outcome, Patricia Smith, the mother of the boy tossed, says, ├óΓé¼┼ôI├óΓé¼Γäóm glad because it either goes to trial next time, or he fesses up to something.├óΓé¼┬¥
No need to fess up – just pay up!
